Hall 1.1, Stand A10
In line with our #ULMAweCare project, aimed at offering our customers environmentally friendly packaging solutions, we will be displaying a wide range of packaging technologies that automate packaging and packing processes, such as:
- Flow pack (HFFS): watch the video
- Traysealing: watch the video
- Vertical (VFFS): watch the video
Machines designed and manufactured to:
- Achieve extremely high levels of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Deliver low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) values
WeCare innovative technologies
Underpinned by our strong commitment to reduce environmental impacts, at ULMA Packaging we have developed various packaging technologies for fruit and vegetables, such as VENTURI™, TIGHT-BAG™ and BETTER-SEAL™.
Technologies aimed at:
- Reducing packaging material
- Recyclability and composting
- Food safety and waste reduction
You can find further information about each of these in our section on ULMA Technologies.
Materials with a smaller environmental impact
New alternative materials that make it possible to implement solutions based on eco-design and sustainability principles, aligned with a Circular Economy strategy for easier recycling when packaging reaches the end of its life-cycle.
At ULMA Packaging we have adapted our packaging machines to allow them to work with renewable materials, based on highly recyclable paper fibre or mono-materials.
Efficient packaging and packing process through ULMA Packaging Automation and ULMA Digital
We offer a wide range of end-of-line solutions for the automatic packing of bags and trays. Additionally, we have auxiliary equipment such as cardboard box forming machines, box sealing machines, plastic crate stackers and de-stackers, etc. increasing the line's efficiency and productivity.
Our smart industry solutions stem from the innovations that we offer through ULMA Digital. Our machines feature an HMI that increases their capabilities, thus facilitating operation and integration tasks in an Industry 4.0 environment, with step-by-step guides for standard operating procedures, with pictures, videos and tutorials.
The connectivity options provided through remote access and integration with MES and ERP systems are complemented by OEE analysis tools, in the equipment itself and via the myULMA portal, where a more thorough analysis can be performed.
